Lots to celebrate at Mekong Villages…
The year 2017 has started well for Mekong Villages, just like its year 2016, which was a year full of successes. We wanted to mark the occasion by celebrating these many successes during a festive evening, which was held on April 10, 2017.
The entire Mekong Villages team met last week, on Monday April 10, 2017, with the aim of having a pleasant time, all together, in the company of our guests.
The objective of this ceremony was, first of all, to honor our Evaneos partners, who were present at this event, with Thibault and Johanna as representatives,
The opportunity for us to discuss this link which unites Evaneos and Mékong Villages, for 3 years now, and which we wish to further strengthen in the future.
Then, we wanted to honor our 5 interns, currently working in our agency, by welcoming them warmly.
Everyone was able to introduce themselves in a few words, in front of the whole team, to express their personal backgrounds, their internship choices and their expectations.
Then, we also wanted to celebrate the installation of the agency in its new premises, at 27 Phạm Cự Lượng, Phường 2, Tân Bình District, in Ho Chi Minh City.
Even though the move took place in January, it was finally in April that we were able to arrange the last little details that were missing, so that we could definitely feel at home.
We also subsequently wanted to highlight our trophy, won during the “HO CHI MINH CITY TOURISM AWARDS 2016”.
Indeed, ImagesTravel had the honor of receiving a prize rewarding its year 2016, for the quality of its work and its commitment to the tourism development of Vietnam.
With a young team of around thirty employees and a very dynamic director, ImagesTravel is on the rise and is ranked among the top 10 Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Ho Chi Minh City in 2016.
It is therefore with the pride and honor of receiving this award, but also the desire to continue our efforts, that we wish to honor this prestigious trophy, with a view to proving our motivation to develop tourism in Vietnam.
Finally, to finish, we were able to present our latest version of our new ImagesTravel website to all the guests.
Much effort was needed to make this site more modern, more interactive, and more accessible to all, since it is now translated into 3 languages, namely French, English, and also German – the aim being, in the short term, to conquer this new market.

This evening therefore symbolizes a year full of success for Mekong Villages, but it was also an opportunity to show our future objectives, by sharing a friendly, warm and festive moment.
